Very good hotel. Excellent location, well decorated. The breakfeast is not sumptuos, but it is good. The room was confortable, but small. The same applies for the bed. There is a terrace bar/restaurant. It seems nice, but we didn't eat or drink anything there.
I would make one suggestion: serve the breakfeast on the terrace. It would have been excellent.

We get to the hotel late at night. At the arrival it occurred that the price is higher than listed on Booking. We were not expecting that and in addition our card was not passing the payment process. We did not have enough cash to pay the rised price, so we paid 2/3 of it with a promise we would pay the rest next morning (3 nights stay). The man at the reception was not English speaking, but he took his phone and opened Google Translate app. He wrote to me that if I won't pay the rest tomorrow he would cut my balls off. He was not acting like it was a joke. This took a major impact on my hotel review. Not recommended.

Attentive and helpful service. Cute boutique hotel with free continental breakfast. Very central to everything. Rooftop restaurant on the 3rd floor. The only two cons are that it could get noisy during the time the rooftop restaurant operates, specially if there is live music. Also the main entrance to the hotel is locked at night, so if you are returning after hours you have to knock to be let in. Not sure if this is common in other hotels in the city.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Abuela María for seven nights. The entire staff demonstrated a very high degree of professionalism. Our rooms were well kept. The good men and women at the front desk attended to all of our needs and requests. As stated in other reviews, our room was rather small. However, our bathroom was delightful and the location is truly exceptional. Overall, our week at Casa Abuela María was very enjoyable. I would love to stay there again in the future.

The hotel is really well located, super clean and the staff is really nice and tried to help you in everything. But! it is noisy not only because you can hear your neighbours, the noise in the street but also the noise of the kitchen!! The hotel have to be more strict with smokers, you can smell it in the corridors.

Good location and affordable prices, flexible on check-in and out when available. Basic rooms, little small though
