Great location in the center, exceptional staff and nice light breakfast. The hotel rooms could use a little TLC but doe not take away from what they offer in amenities and value. All the staff were professional, polite, and helpful. If you want to stay right in the center of Oaxaca in a nice hotel with great staff then this is the pace.

This hotel was the cheapest hotel I have ever been to and they are advertising it as a luxury experience and charging customers as a luxury hotel.

First of all, we were given a room on the roof that was not even part of the palace, it was a cheap room that was added to the building later, with a low ceiling and a bath that would not even drain water. ( it was like a tent on top of the building).

The day after we spend an hour of our short stay there complaining, telling them what we reserved had a different description on the website and they Agreed to change our room.

In the new room, my husband found a cockroach, and like the one in the previous room, the water was not draining in the bath or
Sink.

On the hotel's website, They specifically advertised that every room has Hermes toiletry; This is the level of luxury they are advertising which is not true, there was not a single piece of Hermes toiletry anywhere. They put one shampoo on two of us each day. I have long hair, and when I asked for an extra shampoo they were questioning my request.
Same with laundry bag, they had trash bags instead of laundry bags and I have been questioned for asking for a second one! We only got one bottle of water each day and there was not even a tea or coffee in the room.

The breakfast was a served small plate of fruit and a coffee with a small bread. Everything else was by order and at extra charge.
This breakfast was served after 9:00, which is very late for any hotel especially if you are in Oaxaca and need to leave your hotel early in the morning in order to get to archeological sites.

There was a young gentleman, who was the receptionist, the server, and the concierge desk.

Long story, short, this hotel has been misrepresented and miss advertised by the host, be careful!

Delightful 12 room boutique hotel. Flawless location steps from everything in Colonial Oaxaca. Great professional breakfast. Table service. Refined. Lovely help. Rooms large and very nice. Baths very modern. Highly recommend.

Decent location in the centre of town, however this does mean that rooms can be noisy. Bedroom was spacious but the bathroom was tiny and dated.

The staff at this hotel are as nice, gracious, genuine and attentive as you will find. They are truly amazing. Beautiful rooms, extremely clean and an excellent value. I also really liked the location. I don't think I would ever consider staying anywhere else if I get to visit Oaxaca again.

Great and attentive staff at all levels. Comfortable hotel, clean rooms and nice bath, shower was perfect. Plenty of hot water. Fresh fruit and breads in the AM. Coffee could be better. Easy to navigate to town but overall fantastic location. Rooftop views as good as any place in town. Good neighborhood for food and drinks.

Sharming hotel in downtown Oaxaca. The location is great and the service is amazing. They really go beyond to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and have AC (which is not always the case in Oaxaca). The hotel is slightly worn down but still a good option for a night or two in town.
