Have respect for the staff. Don't mess up the kitchen.
Pay for your drinks you get out of the fridge. Don't touch the wires surrounding the balcony !
Remember....nobody wants to hear your loud conversations....being respectful is golden.

We absolutely loved staying here, the roof terrace is amazing, location is not on a main road so slept perfectly. But most importantly the woman who run this are amazing- honestly felt like you were just part of their family for a couple of nights. I hope we get to come back one day!

It's clean, has a very nice roof terrace, the staff are nice, and it is close to the city center. Otherwise, walls are paper thin and the beds are fairly uncomfortable. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

Just spent three lovely nights at Hotel Azucenas.
I'm fairly cautious during the pandemic and felt comfortable with the efforts the staff were making, both following the regulations and being conscious. I liked that the hotel had no enclosed public spaces. Every door opens to an open courtyard. The front desk area is open to the courtyard. The kitchen is covered and open to the outside.
I had a peaceful stay and was well attended to. It's a great location near major roads, but not on them!

cute, clean, very helpful staff, everyone speaks english. on a quiet street, but no more than an 5-10 minute walk from the zocalo and santo domingo.

It's beautiful but it doesn't have air conditioning and in Oaxaca that's a very bad thing
