Delicious food and great service!

We arrived around 8pm on a Sunday night and managed to get a table straight away. The turnover is fairly quick so even if you don't get a table straight away it won't take too long.

They have a menu in English which was very helpful and gave us while fried tortillas, salsa, guacamole and limes on the table.

The food we ordered was absolutely delicious!!! We tried the Mole Mixe which was AMAZING! Just wish there was more to mop up the sauce with!

The servers were really great and very helpful too! Very good evening!

Great traditional restaurant with a casual vibe. Service was great and fast. We came twice and were able to grab a table right away. The quality of the food is 5/5 especially for the meat. Must try Tacos Al vapor!

One of the best restaurants I have in Mexico after dining out 1 or 2 times a day for 7 months.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Very nice location and decor.

Great family restaurant! Loved the agua fresca (tamarind and pineapple) and adored the house pozole as well. We shared a tacos sampler too, which we liked but didn’t love. Still worth getting. Would be back to try more of the menu!

My girlfriend and I stopped in for a convenient lunch one afternoon and… the food was sooo good, we came back for dinner 3 nights in a row. The spot is often busy for dinner but they always had a table for us and mostly (1 waitress was just okay) great service. Don Juanito’s had the atmosphere of a nice restaurant, but with very reasonable prices. The dishes were authentic and had a nice presentation, without being over the top.

Delicious pozoles (I actually liked the green one the best), and they have a full menu of plates, tacos, and other items. They also have al pastor which I found to be harder to find in Oaxaca. Pro tip: order a side of rice and put it in your soup for one of the best things in the world, SOUPY RICE! Yum.

They take credit cards and had plenty of availability around 8 at night, and they stay open pretty late. Street parking per usual in this part of Oaxaca.

Very good food and service. We ordered the tabla de tacos and flan and it was delicious. Highly recommended!
