We loved Octavios’s cozy home food, a great punch of Oaxaca bbq food. I feel in love with his wife’s quesadillas, but I will come back because of how nice and friendly that amazing family is.

The best quesadilla I had while in Oaxaca, this place is a hidden gem. The agua de Jamaica is delicious as well. Friendly people and great food! My husband had the Chorizo tlyuda and said it was the best Chorizo he had while in Mexico. Highly recommend ????

Don't judge this place by the settings. Away from the city center (4 blocks away), this place is ideal for nibbles. The staff was really helpful. We eventually had a tasty tlayuda (you can choose the type of meat you like), probably the best we had in Oaxaca.umtititit

If you're visiting Oaxaca, you must go here! Cenaduria El Ajo is run by the nicest couple ever. Everything was explained to us and the outcome was incredible. Highly recommend for a great meal and great company

Great tlayudas served out of an unassuming location. Octavio is incredibly proud of his food and you can really tell why. He serves each with local garnishes like chepiche (a cilantro-like herb from Oaxaca) and a type of snap bean.
Between my friend and I we tried the tesajo and chorizo, both are delicious.
Tlayudas are meant to be eaten with your hands - so don't be surprised to find the table bereft of silverware.
If you have tried tlayudas and don't get them yet, come here to see how they're done.

Hands down best Talayuda in Oaxaca. Been coming here for 8 years and the place just get better every time.
