Place was awesome. Great atmosphere, great food! Lamb and steak was so good! When I come back to Monterey I have to go back here and try other dishes! The staff was friendly, great service. Highly recommend!

Life is always good when you cook al pastor. Cooking cabrito over an open pit nice and slow with leña u0026 smoke is where it’s at. The must have dish is el costillar "ribs". El costillar has all the mouth watering taste of the perfect meat and buttery fat. Another favorite dish is la paleta "shoulder" . If you want to eat cabrito right! This is the perfect spot.

El Rey Cabrito has mastered to have everything ready as is needed. Amazing food and superb service. This is a "must go" when in Monterrey.
