I have done my shopping here for over 20 years, personally I love it because I always find large size short sleeve shirts ( 44,46 ) which are 100% cotton and fit me well

I didn't know what to expect from a brand that no longer operates in the States. If I had to compare it to something - it's a notch between a US Dollar General and a US Sears.

If you're just looking for a staple - clothes or housewares - you may as well stop by here first and check if there's a bargain to be had.

This place is a joke, my luggage was lost so I went here today to pick up some inexpensive clothes until I got my luggage, I had a pile of clothes I was about to buy. The store lady came to put them away while I was grabbing a jacket, I told her to not put them away as I was purchasing them, I then was yelled at that I could not try clothes on - literally she lost her mind and was more desperate to put the clothes back on the rack than to let me buy them. So I put the jacket with the rest of clothes and left, went to Hu0026M and was treated in the normal polite way- I spent my money there - so it was a blessing in disguise as the stuff at Hu0026M is very nice and inexpensive. My treatment at woolworth was INSANE!

They are EXTREMELY RUDE! Today i stopped by to buy make up. Since a lot of their make up was on sale i asked if a specific item was on sale, i was yelled at " Only what says sale is on sale!!" but the item did NOT even had a price on in sale or not.
I pointed that to the very RUDE woman and she takes goes check on the price as it had none at all she seems very angry, as if its a huge favor she's doing me a huge favor is her job.
Turns out the item which had no price or was on sale but it was not listed as on sale. The female manger is so RUDE and ignorant. I have complained before they change nothing, they only get worse.

Just like the last guy said; the ladies yelled at me for trying to try on a jacket. Angry staff, yeah H u0026 M probably way easier.

It's Woolworths. We don't have them any more in Canada and if you remember them this is a bit of nostalgia. No lunch counter but a reasonable lower price department store.
