I have had a very bad experience in that gym. First of all it took forever for their system to be able to add me to the database of clients. Although I had paid 2000 pesos for 1 month, the automatic gate would never work properly. The app was dysfunctional. There was some woman chasing me around the gym to force me to put the mask when I was on my own jogging on the tread mill. Some of alcool gel dispensers were empty and over all I did not like the vibe in that gym. But the worse is that I thought that by paying 2000 pesos on July 9th, my membership would be covered for one month until August 9th but I realized, the first 2000 pesos covered 22 days for July, and that i was going to get charged again on August 1st. Basically I feel I am being robbed of 500 pesos. The sauna did not work and there was an issue with the door in the steam room. I cancelled my membership on the spot and will join another gym that is more honest and clear with how much they want to charge me. I don't recommend that gym.

Very nice gym with high regards to COVID awareness and protocol. There are plenty of weights or equipment for upper body workouts but only one squat rack and one smith machine in the facility.

The CrossFit/HIIT workout area is equipped with an additional squat rack but it’s directly facing a fence, making it unusable for back squats.

I have had a very good experience at this gym. Unfortunately I do not speak Spanish but they were very helpful and kind, which I greatly appreciated. The gym is large, and well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. During the day, the gym is very quiet so I never needed to wait for any machine. There are gender separate steam rooms and saunas in the locker room. The lockers are combination which is convenient, and there are small and large towels on offer. The gym is constantly cleaned, which i appreciated. A wonderful gym with wonderful staff.

Good gym overall, the machines are clean and functional, the place is clean and you have some extra practice zones such as boxing bags, bikes, open area for diverse sport

Great gym.....Marcos and his staff are the BEST !!!!!!
Changing my review because Marcos left and the new manager is unfair and lacks common courtesy.
Energy Fitness Gym in Palanco is much better than Sports World....
Energy is cheaper, cleaner, larger, and better equipped.

Arrogant service. 10 mins before closing time they just turned off the water in the showers without any advance notice. About 6 of us were shocked. When I complained they tried to point to some fine print in the rules. The others in this franchise don’t behave like that.

Super rude, bad service and no focus on their clients. Also the only Sports World with no machine near the lockers to “rate “the service so I guess this makes them behave without recourse.

Great gym.
Spin bikes and pilates reformer rooms. Some trx training and various aerobic/yoga like lessons available.
No pool.
Convenient locker rooms with sauna and steam rooms.
