maybe its because i went on a sunday night at 9pm. i ordered a cheese sandwich with fries, i asked that the fries to be well cooked. it took about 40 min for the sandwich to arrive. talking to the waiter was almost impossible he was very busy with notes. it seemed like there where a bunch of management just chatting but also uninterested in customer service. i got the sandwich and the fries where under cooked and the sandwich that is supposed to come with tomato and lettuce had only the cheese so it was very greasy and salty.

The good thing about this visit is that I confirmed that it doesn't matter which city it is, if there is a sanborns restaurant the food will always be tasteless and pricey.
I don't know how they manage to make meals so bad.

Very poor restaurant. I ordered a margarita en las rocas/on the rocks. I was brought a frozen one. The waiter said he did not understand my Spanish so he brought me this. He exchanged it for a frozen one with ice in it. He disagreed with me when I said this was not on the rocks. On the rocks means liquid over ice, not a frozen drink with ice in it.
The food brought to me was not what I ordered. I asked for my plate in Spanish and the waiter clarified with my partner who explained what he thought I wanted. Why he did not ask me is a puzzle.
This was not my first but rather my third bad experience with Sanborns cdmx over the years. Three times you are out!!

¡Bad at worse ! Too low attention ,but good
too expensive $$$$ for the type of food Good taste in pastry but not worth it The house in Sanborns has become unnecessary and expensive for the type of service and food they offer

Great place for tobacco products. They have moist snuff aka dip. Only place I found in Mexico City that did.

It's a small Sanborns, but it has lots of the tradicional services Sanborns offers. Didn't try the restaurant but seems to be the main part of the place.
