Great neighborhood favorite for traditional Yucatecan food. They've always had delicious cochinita pibil and now they remodeled and have a bigger menu. Open for breakfast and with a small drink selection, you can enjoy their pibil breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They bring in Yucatecan ingredients and favorites including flavorful sodas and dessert recipes from Yucatan. With their new atmosphere and enduring tasty seasoning, Porton Maya remains one of the best local finds in the neighborhood.

This is not the fault of the restaurant. All very rich and well served, very attentive waiters. What is finished is prepared at the moment, except for the suckling pig and the cheese pie with ate. Recommendation to go during the week or make a reservation, we left at 5:00 and there were still people waiting. It is better to arrive by Calle de Belgica and park at the gym that is around the corner from Santa Cruz.

Fui en domingo a las 2:00 y estaban 7 mesas esperando lo que tomó ¡¡¡una hora!!! El lugar es muy chiquito y casi todas son mesas de 4. Esto no es culpa del restaurante. Todo muy rico y bien servido, muy atentos los meseros. Lo que se acaba lo van preparando en el momento, menos el lechón y el pie de queso con ate. Recomendación ir entre semana o hacer reserva, salimos a las 5:00 y aun había gente esperando. Mejor llegar por la calle de Bélgica y estacionarse en el gimnasio que está dando la vuelta en Santa Cruz.
