The museum was a little bit hidden and didn’t look open. But it was open and everything was really interesting, since you could still see the real old furniture of the time when Trotsky lived in the house as well as many pictures of him. The garden is also really beautiful. In the museum was a cafeteria as well which looked really authentic. Another good thing is that the description were translated to English as well. The only negative point is that you have to pay a little bit in order to be aloud to take pictures.

Very cool museum/house. Not sure about the historical accuracy, but a good opportunity to learn a bit about Trotsky's life and communism in Mexico. I thought it was a unique spot because as far as I know, there aren't many communism museums in Mexico City. As other reviews have said, Trotsky's items and furniture are well preserved.

Very cool little museum. The small biographical exhibits were informative, and the house itself is in great shape, and there were so few people there that we felt like we had the whole house to ourselves. If you’re interested in Trotsky at all, this place is a must-see.

A small "museum" that's worth a visit when in Coyoacan. The historical exhibit isn't terribly accurate or up to date but the visit of Trotsky's house, where he was assassinated, and mausoleum in the garden is very moving.

Beautiful museum and a great addition to Frida’s Casa Azul (literally around the corner). It tells you a great story of the Russian Revolution, its momentum in worlds history and Trotsky’s role in it. How he was exiled by Stalin, was taken in by Frida and Diego, and how he ultimately was murdered inside his home.
They kept his house and belongings practically untouched so it feels like going back in time.

Small but compact museum. I didn’t really know much about Trotsky but left with a great understanding of his impact on Russia u0026 Mexico.

Guided shirt tour around the house of the former Soviet leader Leon Trotsky. After the tour it will be possible to visit the house on your own. There is a small Cafe in the patio of the house.
