I read the reviews before booking a table, and was confused: some said everything was excellent, some gave it 1 star and said it was horrible.
So here is my opinion.
The restaurant itself looks good: the medieval style, the building, the concept etc.
The food was good, we ordered chipriones (I might’ve spelled that incorrectly) and meat. The wine menu has quite a few options, and prices are reasonable. I loved the dessert, I think it’s called crema catalana.
Many have written that the service was terrible. From my experience, it was good, all waiters were polite and paid attention.
Also, the tables are placed 2 meters or more away from each other and the utensils are brought in sealed packaging (a special thank you for the latter ????????).
If you’re looking for a Spanish restaurant in Mexico City, definitely give it a chance.
