Such a fun concept. It’s a small menu that changes daily. We tried 4 dishes and everything was delicious. Big selection of Japanese whisky, beers and natural wines. It gets pretty busy so I recommend going early.

It recently reopened after renovations. Still a very strong contender for coolest restaurant in CDMX. In my opinion they should work on the music, which I found too generic and low-brow for the kind of vibe they are going for.

The food was excellent!! A great place to visit and have an excellent time. We ordered the Cucumber u0026 peanuts salad, the Pollo karageo and the Omu Rice - everything was delicious.

The Omurice might be coming directly from heaven. Incredible. Nice selection of natural wine.
Will definitely be back next time I’m in CDMX.

Amazing and delicious! The concept is Japanese bite size skewers on a grill (Yakitori). The place is small, cozy and exclusive. One of the main reason this is a favorite for me is: consistency. Every single time I go the food is as good as the last one. And that is hard to accomplish. A must if you are into a real Japanese experience in Mexico City.

This was the most special experience when I visited CDMX. This is a little standing bar with natural wine, sake, and whiskey specialty. No drink menu — it’s dealers choice. Limited dinner menu but everything was truly amazing. We had the omu rice (must get!), japa hot dog, duck tostada (with truffle!), sea bass kampachi (amazing for the price), and the mochi. We came on a slow night but I know it gets very packed on the weekends.
