This is place is located in one of the most exclusive area in Mexico City. Twice, I've attempted to get admission to the club and twice denied. First attempt I had my concierge at the JW Marriott make reservations for two at the club after dinner. After an amazing dinner, walked over to the club, introduced myself and stated that I hada reservation. The person at the door then had us wait about 5 minutes, supposedly to get our reservation information. This whole time we could see him while he spoke to another person and then tells me that there was no reservation and if anything was made through the marketing department. I said are you sure? And he responded yes. Keep in mind, I am fluent in Spanish and I am black. I said, I'll inform the concierge of this incident so he doesn't send anyone to that spot. About Teo months later, I tried again to give the place the benefit of the doubt. Again I arrived, this time a little early before they opened, what appeared to be same guy tells me that doors open in an hour and tells us to go across the street to another bar till then. We checked it out, go in and had a great time. The place was upscale and ewe were dressed accordingly. After a bottle of champagne we decided to go back to La Santa and talked to the same guy that sent us across the street. No lines, one couple leaving and told him we were ready. He tells me to wait, two minutes later, he tells me the place was full. I said, we are two people and what was the deal? At the time I realize that they don't allow my color type into the club and pretty much was a racist situation. Long story short, don't go to this racist place. Viva Mexico!
