Decent food but extremely over-priced for very simple things. Uncomfortable tight space. You have to sit on tiny hard benches with no back rest squished against other people and for the crazy price I’m paying I expect at least a comfortable chair, if not an armchair and space to eat on the table.

Good things first: Food is very good, good quality and portions reasonable. If you have visited Spain and know how much a place like this would cost there then this would be very expensive.

Bad thing: Service. It is simply terrible waitress was rude and impolite all the time she never made us feel comfortable. We asked her for a couple of things and answers were rude.

There are much better price-quality options for tapas in Mexico City

Jaleo had advertised special paquetes for Mother's Day. Mother's Day is not usually a good day for restaurant food but I didn't want to cook my own dinner, so the Saturday before on the recommendation of a friend, we called and placed an order for paella de mariscos to be delivered Sunday at 4:00. 4:00 came and went, as did 4:30. No one one answered the phone so at 4:45 we decided to drive to the restaurant. A sign on the door recommended their delivery service and they did have a record of our order, but no one had prepared it . Five minutes, they said. 45 minutes later, after several errors in coming up with all the items in the paquete, we received a bagged order. The paella was horrible, greasy, with no seafood, only tiny pieces of overcooked vegetables and strips of meat that appeared to be from chicken feet. The potatoes were cold and dry. It was a great disappointment. To make matters worse, the person taking our payment was not wearing a mask and asked for a tip!

Very good paella on weekends (book in advance) and Spanish tapas, except callos a la madrileña that are a joke. Expensive Spanish beer.

Huge menu of authentic Spanish tapas at reasonable prices. You need to speak culinary spanish or be prepared for an adventure as there is no english menu and our server did not speak english. I'm pretty good in spanish but I don't have the culinary vocabulary to describe different cuts of beef, for example. Well worth it regardless. Pitcher of sangria + anything they bring you u003d yum.

One of the best Spanish restaurants in Mexico City. It mostly offers tapas and small dishes to share. I recommend the pulpo a la gallega or piquillos rellenos de gamba. The tinto de verano and sangría are great! The service is helpful and nice. The owner is always there and she is very nice and take care of all her clients. The place is small but cozy. Good for small groups or couples. Prices are high but worth it.

Got some serious food poisoning, and when we informed the restaurant they were not only rude, but uncooperative. Quality of the food was below standard, as opposed to the over the top price.
