Holiday Inn Express Mexico Reforma, an IHG Hotel

I stayed here for only 2 hours. The staff was rude to me, the room was clean but not well maintained, and for the price of $125 US dollars a night - you can do a lot better.
I checked out and went to another hotel, feeling very upset by the rudeness, the staff. I requested a refund for the rest of my stay and it has been denied by Holiday Inn and their bureaucracy of IHG. I will continue to fight as I feel that they are robbing me of my money - $450 USD to be exact.
I was once a higher status on IHG, but after this experience, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn, Kimpton nor intercontinental and will encourage all my friends not to either.

Stay away from here, stay at another place.

Muy buena experiencia en el Hotel. Siguen protocolos anti COVID. Buen lugar para descansar y poseen un buen servicio de desayuno. El personal se encuentra presto a resolver cualquier inconveniente o situación que se presente durante la estadía.

Although this was my first visit and not by far my last one I have to grade it properly. When I entered the hotel, everything was nice and cleaan as the hotel should be but when it came to registering into the hotel, at exactly 5:47 pm, I asked the receptionist to please deposit the IHG welcome points and the guy told me that "NO" because it will appear upon check - in. Later that night I talked to the night manager and that he assured me that he would have this done before the morning and nothing. I had to make several calls every single day to find out when it is going to be deposited, on Sunday, December 05, 2021, and I got the same around as always but on Monday, December 06, 2021 I asked to talk to the Loyalty Champion and I told him that if he knew that I was coming in to the hotel , then he should have had the IHG welcome points already in my account before any more problems arrived.

A nice decent place but is not a Suites level take it in mind however for a Express Hotel the price rate is considerably over the standard. The place is really clean, the appliances and the furniture are well maintained and the breakfast has a big variety. I had a not pleasant situation with a front desk person however the crew is with good customer service.

I stayed at a horrible hotel my first night in Mexico City, and I had only slept for four hours. I was exhausted and just wanted a nice place that was clean and where I could sleep. This hotel went above and beyond! They serve you a free breakfast up until 10:30 a.m. that's wonderful, they have a gym, a laundry room, and they clean your room everyday, (unless you put a sign up on your door asking them not to come in.) They have security at the front doors, the staff is accommodating and friendly, wifi is free, and they'll give you a COVID-19 test at your hotel and provide you a taxi to the airport. This place was great!

This is a great value and location in central cdmx. My experience was great until I asked for a couple bottles of water at the front desk and was somewhat rudely told by the man that I had to wait for housekeeping to clean my room or walk to 7/11 and buy some. Absolutely a simple request that caused my day to begin poorly. Need to train the staff here better.

This hotel is a great value for the location. The staff are friendly and competent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great. My only disappointment was that the laundry facility was not in operation.
