after Soumaya museum, I visited here. If you have a time I recommend this place. all place and goods were nice! when you enter there and you can see the hide secret garden!

Tiny yet astonishing museum. It is supposed to be the former residence of one of Mexico's most recognized decorative arts collectors, Guillermo Tovar y de Teresa was considered Mexico City's chronicler. The house is amazing and hosts an immense collection of Mexican Art, furniture and objects, it's quite noticiable the great amount of religious pieces he owned. The court yard is really peaceful and calming.

A house which functions as a museum since his owner died, not too long ago. The place is very well maintained and is certainly worth a visit. The house is full of old artifacts, oil paintings, persian rugs and what not. The floor switches between wood engravings in the inside and black and white ceramics on the outside and the patio is full of green vegetation. Don't miss it.

Small but beautiful place. Just need 10 min to know everything, but you can drink a delicious coffee next to the museum.

Extremely beautiful, lacks explanations however and the security guards patrol heavily and viciously. 5 stars for the house itself, but 2 for the staff and the museum as a concept.
