Went around an hour before closing on a holiday, but couldn’t get a table in time to enjoy our food seated before they close. Instead, we ordered takeout and they allowed us to go in to take photos.

Staff were very nice and when I was just looking at the food, someone immediately asked if they could help me. And even if they didn’t speak much English and I don’t speak Spanish, the staff very patiently tried to explain what’s available, what main ingredients were in it, and how much they cost. The cakes were all 75MXN and I most especially enjoyed the Chocolate/Nutella Mousse on top of Orea crumbles. Blew me away; unfortunately, it had melted a bit by the time we got home to enjoy the takeout.

The view was fantastic. I just wish we knew that takeouts would have allowed us access to the restaurant earlier, as I wanted to take a photo of the palace before and after sunset.

The entire seating area is outdoors, but there are parts that are under a roof and others under giant tents. Nonetheless, if it rains, half of the seats aren’t usable.

Loved this place! Go all the way up to the last floor inside the Sears building right across the street from Palacio de Bellas Artes (it's hard to miss it). It has an amazing view of Palacio de Bellas Artes on the terrace of the cafe.

We sat in one of the stools that overlooked the square and ordered a sandwich and chocolate cake. It was delicious. It was quite crowded when we arrived and we had to haggle to find a spot, but once we settled in, it was all worth it. They also made it known (via signs) that guests have a 30-45 minutes time slot. Although, I didn't see anyone monitoring how long each guests stayed.

Giving this five stars for the location and for the fact that it’s located in the furniture floor of Sears which just tickles me for some reason. Absolutely gorgeous view of Palacio de Bellas Artes. Good coffee and desserts as well. Would recommend if the line isn’t too long!! Apologies for the half eaten dessert pics they were too good!

Great place to visit but it is definitely busy. You are first seated at the tables and your order is taken. Once a spot with a view opens up, anyone sitting down can take it. This creates a free-for-all anxiety where people are just waiting to jump up and grab a seat. Personally, I did not like the idea but it is technically the fairest approach. Overall, you only need 5-10 minutes for pictures. The views are great as it is literally right in front of Bellas Artes but are a little cramped. Food prices are similar to Starbucks.

The view is amazing and the prices are decent for a location like this. Starbucks has similar prices without this view and people are not complaining :) You can stay 30 mins so bare in mind.

Amazing coffee, delicious pastries, and the best view of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. If you go on the weekends, expect a line, but it moves pretty quickly.

Great view. They were too busy to attend to everyone on time so I just went in, snapped a couple of pics and left. Located on the 8th floor of sears.
