Amazing museum with rich musical history. This museum is definitely the place to visit if you are interested in Carlos Monsiváis' personal musical collection. Musical pieces are detailed with great information and the place is really wide which allows great mobility and for many visitors to be in the same place without feeling claustrophobic. They have a rec area were you can enjoy planned activities and have fun. They also have a library with a great variety of musical books and other interests that are mentioned in the museum's expo. And lastly, at the very top they have a terrace were you can sit and have a bite. They offer coffee and other snacks to enjoy. It has a great view of Calle Madero.

There is a café on the terrace but the elevator does not reach the floor where it is located. It is only accessible through the stairs.

They are supportive of racist staff and will not be a representation of the future here, I hope. Though while they employ people like Cynthia, please do not attend this establishment. SHE IS RUDE TO ALL.

A great museum always with a great exibition! And the best, is for free, Wednesday to Monday, from 10h to 18h. Going there, don't miss the visit to the Cafe and bookstore and the roof top. Has a nice view. The only thing is, the roof top isn't wheelchair accessible. The rest of the museum is. Great place to go by yourself, with friends, family or the special one. If you are in Mexico City don't let to go there.

This museum is a must see in Mexico City! They are multiple floors of different exhibits. There is also a rooftop that has a coffee bar and gift shop. Entrance was free, but you have to let them hold your bag once you get to the stairwell. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I loved the small art they had that was very detailed. I highly recommend and would visit again with friends.

Interesting museum, working elevator but very small. Just take the stairs. Clean bathrooms.

Look this place seems pretty unassuming but it is really fun! All about Mexican art, music and film history with major names and writers... Even fun craft and find the art work scavenger hunt so it's fun for all ages \ (•◡•) /
