I normally have 2 gripes with both vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Mexico:
1. Lack of bold flavor.
2. Way too many soy-based "mock meat" centered dishes, and not enough veggie-based "real food" centered dishes.
I am delighted to report that this place is one of the very few vegetarian or vegan restaurants in Mexico City that serve boldly flavored, vegetable-centered dishes... the broccoli tortita has a wonderful tomato sauce, the rice was flavorful and well cooked, and the tamale was spicy and fantastic... the only knock is that the salad, which was good, had a few leaves with brown parts, so I guess the people in the kitchen should pay a little more attention to that, but that is such a small complaint compared with how much I enjoyed the overall experience...
