Safe place, rooms are pretty clean, bed ok. Curtains for the dorms and outlets (but no light on the dorm bed)
Showers had no hot water. Kitchen didn't have water kettle or means to boil water.
Friendly staff. Quiet Street at night and pretty interior inside.

Good! Breakfast is good. The women’s dorm behind the front desk was quiet. The curtains over the beds are nice, but a little translucent. The shower water is actually hot and the internet is generally above average (but not at all fast).
Main issue: Since you have no door key, you rely on staff to answer the doorbell. I did wait more than 5 minutes and rang multiple times for a response. It would also be nice to add lights to the bunk beds.

Great location and the beds were clean and they give towels for a deposit. The kitchen looked good too. However I don't understand why it gets such good ratings compared to other places I've stayed in M city . The worst pillows u0026 mattresses I've had in 12mths of backpacking. The shower was freezing and the women's bathroom floods everything someone showers. They say breakfast is from 7 or 8 but really this means the staff who come to prepare breakfast arrive then so plan for 30mins later. Also the beds are surrounded by planks of timber which act as an amplifier of any movement or sound someone makes.

The historic stained glass windows, mansion appeal, and high ceilings definitely make the Casa Maria Hostal the most beautiful and architecturally impressive boutique hostel in which I have ever stayed! Even the basic amenities like the new bathrooms and roomy lounge center are top-notch! As an added bonus, the hostel has friendly staff members like Natalia that go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay!

If you are looking for s party hostel and you don’t expect to sleep then maybe is a good choice. Otherwise it will be a nightmare if you need to rest. The hostel is brand new so there is no enforcement of regulations of Hostel Etiquette such as “quite hours” and use of common areas, so expect drunken noisy rude backpackers strolling around, screaming and partying all night long. Everyday At 4:30am about 10 employees start unpacking, counting and stacking tons of newspapers to be sold this activity is extremely noisy you wont get any sleep at all. Its shame that the good things about this property aré shadowed by their big lacks.

I was there with my family and we had a great time, good location in the city, the hotel is clean and tidy, Slightly expensive price, a varied breakfast, and a great view of the old city. Overall highly recommended.

ONE POINT FOR THE STAFF COS THEY ARE FRIENDLY. BUT...
WHO HAVE GIVE 4.5 POINTS TO THIS HOSTAL? COS THE PLACE IS DUSTY, VERY NOISY, HAVE THE SAME BREAKFAST EVERY DAY, POOR, THE BEDS ARE HARD, THE DOORS IT DON'T CLOSE PROPERLY SO EACH DOOR NEED TO BE REPAIR TO HAVE MORE PRIVACITY, THE BATHROOM DOOR, THE ROOMS, ETC.
THE OWNERS CAN DO SOMETING ABOUT ALL IT, BUT THEY DON'T.
PITY COS IT PLACE IS CLOSER TO THE CENTRE CITY
