I stayed here in 2017, and the experience I had from Casa de los amigos is remarkable. You will meet people from all walks of life, feel very cozy with many accommodations like breakfast, library, and public computer. If you are traveling through Mexico city or in need of meeting new people, Casa is the place to go.

Fascinating place to stay close to the Monumento a la Revolución. Recommended for those who wish to meet people and stay in a religiously inspired hostel. Activities include weekly meetings of the Society of Friends, yoga, and daily social breakfasts for a small fee.
Note that this is not a hotel; asking to stay here is making a request, not booking a reservation.
Currently there is demolition going on behind the building during the daytime so bring earplugs and a sense of goodwill toward others if you need daytime rest.
