Heard so many good reviews of Pallela but it was disappointing to find out that it no longer is available.
The rest of the foods were good enough.
It seems the food they have on menus are really Mexican-Spanish inspired dishes.. not so authentic Spanish.

The food was very well designed. There was a slight issue with a very syrupy soy glaze on the brussel sprouts and a lack of salt on the fish. The table side souffle dessert was artistic and delicious.

I went here today with a friend because I had heard that the food was good. I live nearby so it was perfect for an afternoon after work.

I ordered the tuna pokemon, and my friend got the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was only seasoned on the skin, and the snack that was offered tasted old. When I asked the sous chef, he confirmed that it had been made that morning. The service is really good, but for the amount of money that is charged you're better off going somewhere like capital grille. Atleast in capital grille the food is consistently excellente, there's a great view, and it's cheaper.

I ate here last night with 2 of my friends and all 3 of us got food poisoning. The up all night, both ends, sick the next day kind.
I tried calling the hotel (the restaurant is closed today) to let them know u0026 they hung up on me twice.
We had a bad feeling when we walked in u0026 there was only one other table dining in the whole restaurant at 9p. When we asked, they told us we were just early u0026 more ppl would come - no one else did.
We had the iberico platter, the ham croquettes, u0026 a blue cheese plate.
The food tasted great and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food prep / storage is not up to snuff.

Candela Romero is an upscale Spanish food restaurant, the contemporary dish presentation doesn't miss the mark and the falvor it's tru to it's roots. their wine list can accommodate all tastes and budgets.
