If you like great coffee with strong taste, Jekemir is for you. It is one of the places with the best Turkish desserts (you can never go wrong here if you want one). The Jekemir in San Jerónimo is small (around 10 tables) and a good place to go with a friend.

Cafe Jekemir has been in this location FOREVER so I decided to give it a try after many many years and have to say I was disappointed. Coffee and Chai latte were good but their food was very weak. Considering this place has been open for a few decades and the owners are an authentic Lebanese family, I was expecting much more from some basic staples. Their labneh is very acidic and their rice and lentils was a super wet porridge.
