Went to this bar on a Saturday night because of good recommendations on here. The staff was very rude. The drinks were more expensive than anywhere we've been in Mexico City, but the experience was the worst. Our drinks came out wrong, with one possibly having no alcohol at all. After we questioned them on the matter, they made us get up from our table and forced us to close out and leave. When we asked for a copy of our receipt, they refused to provide one. Definitely the only negative experience we've had in Mexico City.

Expensive drinks u003d good service and delicious cocktails...think again! I have NEVER been asked to get up from my seat and leave after ordering a drink and paying, what I consider, a higher than average cost for a mediocre cocktail with little to no alcohol in it.

A Manhattan is bourbon, vermouth, and bitters. I received what essentially tasted like cranberry juice in a martini glass. After politely interrogating the staff to correct the issue, received a slightly stronger yet equally mediocre cocktail. Less than two minutes later, myself and my party was forced to pay our bill before being ready to leave with no reference to the prices on the menu, made to get up from our table to be replaced by some scantily clad women who paid NOTHING for drinks or bottle service, even after we paid.

If you value an authentic cocktail and customer service, as well as an immersive cultural experience, seek elsewhere. If you value being treated like trash and getting mocktails, be their guest.

If you are not from the area, a.k.a. a visitor to MX city they will try to rip you off. Poe had a lot of potential; the speakeasy is located in the back of the kitchen of a restaurant which is somewhat edgy and fun. However, once you get into the actual bar it gets weird. I got pat down extensively by the bouncer lady u0026 she took my gum even after I said "Es chiclet" and either kept it for herself or threw it away.

Now, onto the real part. We ordered two drinks because we were not fully committed to bottle service yet. The drinks arrived, one manhattan and a vodka soda. There was NO, I repeat NO alcohol in either drink u0026 the Manhattan was a Cosmo. When we asked them to remake it, they brought back the drinks u0026 then forced us to close out our tab. The vodka soda still did not have any vodka, but at least the Manhattan was now a Manhattan (kinda).

They told me my tab was $340 for 2 drinks. When I asked how this was the price, then showed them the calculation on my phone of what we ordered, they changed the price to $280. I paid, then for a receipt. They were unable to provide one and could not give me a reason for why other than I had already paid.

We then got basically kicked off our table for a group of people that didn't even buy bottle service even though we had already paid for two drinks that were the most expensive u0026 terrible I had in Mexico city for my entire 3 day stay.

Again, if you are a visitor looking to experience Mexico city nightlife, skip this place. Poor customer service and unreasonable prices.

I can’t believe it’s 2018 and people still smoke inside closed public spaces. Was here for 20 minutes and I don’t think I will ever be able to take the cigarettes smell out of my hair and clothes.
