This place was worth ever penny. The location is not the best but its pretty safe.
I felt extremely comfortable. EVERYONE (employees) were kind and respectful. Being at the recovery home was the best decision I made. Yes, I felt homesick but I knew I was not going to receive medical care at the comfort at my own home in case of any emergency. I felt safe at the recovery home because I had a team of registered nurses 24/7. All nurses were outstanding.
The lady who cleaned my room did an excellent job. She disinfected my room daily. The lady who brought my meals was friendly and her food was delicious. The administrators were helpful in anything I needed. What I enjoy the most, EVEN THOUGH it was PAINFUL, were my post op massages GOSH it hurt but my body felt rested. Book your appointment with Mariam and Karen, they are excellent.
I had the best experience at Estancia Nueva Vida. If you are thinking of having any type of cosmetic surgery, Estancia nueva vida is the best place to be because the first week is the most painful.

Oh and yes, they have wifi.

I stayed at Rancho Nueva 4/23 to 4/26...
My room was simple. Two beds, no TV, air-conditioning in the wall. I didn't have my own bathroom, but the house had one down the hall. The house had "nurses" (probably barely trained CNA's or Medical Assistants) that came around once in awhile to check vitals and to help with your dressings. There is a kitchen for use if you bring someone and they want to cook a meal. The ranch has an automatic lock on the entrance so people have to buzz in. It's off a dirt road behind a gas station, so during transport expect to hit bumps in the dirt unpaved road. My only two complaints are, the internet went down the day before I left, so there was no wifi for my phone to connect to and reception was very limited from my phone provider (verizon) since the ranch was in the middle of no where. I couldn't make calls or watch anything on my phone without the wifi. I was told they had called for service for the internet but no one ever came. Internet is included in your stay at the ranch, so I essentially paid for one extra day and got half of what I paid for since the internet was never fixed.
My second complaint was someone was smoking cigarettes at the ranch, I can smell it through my air conditioner. Smoking should not be allowed on those premises.
Over all my stay was decent for the price, the "nurses" were very nice, the premises were fairly clean and they had the facilities needed to stay and be comfortable, you just have to bring your own everything like food, shower necessities etc...
