The only reason I didn’t give one star is the food is decent. However, for Merida, you can get more value for your dollar. I came a year ago and it was good enough to want to come back. The main problem this time was the service. There were about 5 servers just sitting around more interested in their phones than customer service. From the beginning, I could tell the service would be off. Even though there were 4 of us, the initial server only gave one menu for some reason. We had to request more or get our own. The problem might be that overall we had something like 3 servers instead of just one taking care of us. Simple things like drinks either took forever to arrive at table or were wrong. It wasn’t a language barrier as I’m with fluent, native speakers. The service needs to improve. I won’t be back as you can do much better with food, service, and value in Merida.
