Good to see that they open again in May 21, the platinum section is comfortable enough although a bit bland. About 420 pesos for 3 people, and popcorn a drinks another 400 pesos. They do not have a lot of choice at the shop. Just pop corn and coke basically. Staff friendly.

We went straight to the red side not noticing the platinum side which I would have liked to try. But I took my family to go see Encanto and no complaints from me on the cheaper side. It’s exactly what you expect. Good visual and audio and according to the ticket booth people it has less people since everyone wants to be on the platinum side. They have seats blocked off for covid so no one will be sitting near your group.

The first time me and my wife went there everything was great, great image, great sound and nice service, the second time we went the sound was so low and so bad that we could barely hear what was going on on the movie, us chewing our snacks was louder than the sound, which was a bum because it was a movie that really needed that punchy loud sound, it was black widow. We also saw a couple leaving halfway the movie and we suspect it was because the sound was really terrible, it felt like a movie they play on the background while we eat at a restaurant that no one pays attention.

We went to the platino theater. Love, love, loved it. Comfy seats, waiters, excellent distancing. Bring a shawl, the ac is super cold.
