Very interesting. Parts are very well done. Relied on my wife for translation. With today's technology, translation of displays is very easy but that is not frequently available here, just a few displays, hence 4 stars. The history in 1800's was particularly well done, period by period as it is an important period for the area and of course Mexico as a whole.

A beautiful place focusing on art and history in the region. I prefer smaller places like this compared to the Museo de Antropologia as it is much easier to digest. Lots in the way of descriptive information, with electronic pedestals that provide info in both Spanish and English. A must see at Leon.

Great place to see and learn a little about GTO, as of this week they have chess outside for people to play and the park is always nice to sit. Theres a giant G right now as well.

Incredible museum to visit! Highly recommend making a trip to see this museum for the historical aspect as well as the artistical. Everything is in Spanish but maybe ask if they have audio tours in English, or use the Google translate photo app to translate to English. We went on a Sunday before heading over to a Leon soccer match. The museum was free and the stadium is right next door. Made for a great Sunday.

This museum impressed me for GOOD I saw a vast collection of paints and prints from David Alfaro Siqueiros, also around the museum are a lot of great places to eat, as a City from the center of Mexico Leon offers a world class theater as well

Nice place to learn about gto's history. Lady in museum was very helpful and nice!
