wow what a find! a beautiful garden area tucked away off of a busy street. the food was fantastic! so much flavor packed into one dish. the staff was excellent as well, kind and courteous. this was a great surprise on our overnight layover in león

Typical Oaxaca cuisine, delicious meals and mezcal, mexican alcohol drink from maguey like tequila, pretty good taste, recommended

Overall is not that bad. But a small chicken tight for $225 is very expensive. I'd gladly paid for it if it was that good. This place is overrated. Regular service. Regular atmosphere. I'd would have spent the same in another much better restaurant.

We ordered three dishes and food was just ok. The mole with pork was served cold and we had to ask to be warmed up. The other two dishes were mildly warm.
We had high hopes because of all the good reviews but maybe we just didn’t order the right dish or at the right time.
Service was okay as well.

Service can be improved, savory but a bit expensive, this is typical Oaxaca Mexican traditional food. This restaurant has a traditional environment that makes you really feel in the culture.

Admirably authentic! Black beans, quesillo, tasajo, very tasty aguas frescas, excelent music selection of classic folkloric music, which I personally love to hear instead of commercial music.
