Great service - bargain!

Nice location near Centro. Prices are low. 55 and 49 for a complete breakfast with bottomless coffee! Food is good but the service was fantastic. Friendly folks bringing refills.

The guys that served us are awesome! Very friendly and spoke English well!
Food is also good and inexpensive. Worth the money!

This was the closest place to us on our vacation so we walked over. Big sign in front says they open at 8am. We got there a bit before 8, employees were sweeping, mopping, putting tables and chairs together so we waited... and waited... and waited... 8:15 these guys still haven't allowed us in. They can clearly see us standing there waiting for them. They could have allowed us to at least sit and grab a cup of coffee while they get it together BUT NO! We left. Service is obviously not up to par here, go to La Cafeteria on Libertad instead. Excellent service and food. I would have given 0 stars but I didnt have that option.

Yax is run by a wonderful family that obviously takes pride in what they do. The food is excellent and the staff/family make you feel welcome. We went there about every other day during our two months in Guadalajara.

If you are the mood for some chilaquiles, this is the place to go. It is really cheap and tasty at the same time. I would recommend it to go to on Sundays when the recreative route is on. Just be there early, you can end up waiting for a table.
