Here in México we look for a place with the so called three B's: Bueno, Bonito and Barato. That little street restaurant effortlessly hits the spot.

A few tips:
1.- tacos dorados, at least at the time I'm writing this, are big, so if a Torta Ahogada isn't quite your thing you should ask for a taco dorado, which would satisfy your hunger.
2. - you can ask for extra meat on your taco dorado. Ussually the taco dorado is a crunchy Mexican version of a taco Bell filled with potato, beans or cheese. So the toppings are outside. With extra meat however turns into a freaking heaven.
3.- the meat is not as spicy as the regular torta ahogada stand, but be careful however.
