Tortas Ahogadas Don Albert

Visiting from California and wanted to try a torta Ahogada from Guadalajara. The small mom and pop shops I have found are some of the best when looking for auth authentic. Service was excellent and food quality/taste was superb. Be careful with the spicy salsa they have because even tho it is delicious it might make you regret drenching your torta in it. Side note the tortas usually come with onions and I opted out on mine.

A taxi driver recommended us this place and it was worth it. Their Tortas Ahogadas was amazing and very juicy. The staff didn't speak English but I could speak enough Spanish to get by. They are a huge fan of football (I forgot the exact club) as seen by the decorations. Service was extremely fast. The place is a little small but we were there for the food anyway!

Not impressed by the torta but the crunchy tacos were really good and would come again just for the crunchy tacos if im in the area. Cold bland meat but sauce had good taste with the bread.
