I loved this little spot. It's on a quieter street in Guadalajara, not in the middle of all the action. But within 2 blocks there are bars, coffee shops, a bookstore, convenience shops, and restaurants, and there is a bike sharing station very close by.

My room was clean, bright, and a great value for the price-- around $20 U.S. All of the employees were lovely, friendly, and helpful. No one speaks much English, but with the help of a translation app or dictionary it's not a huge issue.

Note that most of the rooms don't have outside windows-- they look out onto an interior courtyard (which does get sun, and has plants and is great). I chose a room facing the street. There was some noise, but not too much. There is a grate over the window so it's secure.

If you require a very hot shower or lots of amenities, maybe don't stay here. If you want to be loud and party, don't stay here. But if you want a sweet, quiet, and pleasant place to hang out and rest up, you should definitely consider Hotel Posado Punto!

Decent location. Affordable. But the bed in room 1 was the worst we’ve ever slept in. Expect no privacy because of the too small door curtain. One of the receptionists sing and talk on the phone at night. The bathroom was filthy when we checked in.

Las empleadas del lugar que fungen como recepcionista y/o encargada, no te dan un buen trato, no dan los precios reales y después dicen que se equivocaron y si necesitas tu factura, pues refieren que te falta pagar EL IVA. Eso me paso, batalle para que me dieran la factura porque según este lugar, el precio no incluía el IVA. Bueno, entre ellas discutieron el tema delante de nosotros como clientes (eramos 2), comentando que se iban a descontar ese IVA... y todo por que no dieron el precio real al inicio..o sea, cosas internas, te andas enterando como se manejan entre ellos, no teniendo ni la más mínima confidencialidad ni educación.. Tengan cuidado y siempre pidan el precio real con IVA, especialmente en este lugar, ya que los precios que te dan, difieren de los publicados en su propio lugar.. :(
