Today was my third time visiting Membrillo, and I just had to leave a review. On my first 2 visits I only had drinks and a cheese appetizer, but today I went for brunch and had the breakfast sandwich. I could not stop telling my friends how good the sandwich was. It was so perfect and the bread was soo soft.
I enjoy visiting Membrillo because it is a nice chill vibe, with good music and I’ve had great service every time I’ve went. This will for sure be a regular spot I visit while living here in Guadalajara. Thank you.

We are staying in the neighborhood and finally stumbled into this magical space. Plants, a swing, gorgeous courtyard, and amazing food. We have a vegetarian in our group who was very pleased with the portobello Philly sandwich. We took home a chocolate, caramel tart and it was tasty like an grown up Twix candy bar and very quickly it was gone. The young people in our group asked to eat their again the next day. Service was great each time. Dishes do come out at different times but that didn’t bother us much. ????

Nice and cosy place, uncomfortable seating, beverages expensive. Coffee expensive for the qty, no refill. Food, pretty good and good qty. If you go with your kids, don't let them use the bathroom, only adults if you don't want uncomfortable questions.

This is the first restaurant in Mexico BAKING their enchiladas! (OK you may say that's a TexMex thing) they were great. They also have Chile Nogada, a very seasonal dish. The 3 of us were delighted. Then we had Tiramisu!

The food is great, wonderful ambiance but the service can use some improvements. The staff is very friendly but needs organization, it took some time for the server to take our order and bring the drinks but the food is worth it!

Worst experience ever! Even though we all know the service is quite bad, we all come back for the food and atmosphere. This time, I will never come back!
We were waiting for our order and my boyfriend’s food came first, so we waited for 10min and then my bf asked about my dish. The waiter was pretty rude saying that the restaurant was busy, that’s when my bf got upset and responded with a little attitude, followed by even a worse response by the waiter and we ended up leaving and kind of kicked out too, because the waiter started swearing and he looked he wanted to pick a fight. I am against the saying “the costumer is always right” since I work in hospitality too, but there are ways of explaining the delay of a dish, etc. Not with that attitude. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Love their backyard patio. Very cozy. Food is great. We will go back to try their brunch ????
