I really wanted to give this restaurant a 5-star review but I must deduct 1 for their super slow service. The owner needs to hire more servers desperately. 2 waiters for 15 to 20 tables won't cut it. I ordered escargots and duck confit cassoulet. Both dishes were delicious. I really wanted to order dessert but didn't want to wait for another 45 minutes. Took me a while to get the bill. I put down my credit card but no one came after 15 minutes. I then put down my cash and left. No one even noticed.

I am so glad I came here. I found it randomly after an appointment I had was cancelled. I wanted something sweet to perk me up and ordered the French Toast. It was really great. And suuuuuuuper unique.
This is the most fluffy, light French toast ever. The "bread" was soft and creamy and melt in your mouth perfect. Thank you and hats off to the chef!

Bonjour! Our first visit to Le Bon Plan, nice place, good food, but the service must improve if they want to be better.
We ordered a couple of cocktails and les escargots as an entrée; very good. We moved on to the main plates with rabbit, duck casserole confit paired with a great bottle of bordeaux; really good.
I remember walking that avenue back in the early 90”s and there was not much to do, but now there’s Le Bon Plan to offer us a chance to smell, taste and enjoy a little bit of France in our city.

I’ve lived in front of this restaurant for many months and finally decided to come and check it out, I just wish I had came sooner because service the food the ambience is incredible. The owner Christophe was amazing and gave us incredible service. Definitely get the hamburger! It’s one of the best iv’e had here in Guadalajara.

Me and my husband went for dinner for the first time to this place! We were so excited about it, we had seen great videos on Instagram. However, we were deeply disappointed… on the positive side, the food was great and we even met the owner and he was so nice to us… However the servers were TERRIBLE! They would totally ignore us, like we were not there. It was so bad, they really made us feel like we did not belong there… it was a very young lady and a guy, in contrast I saw they were so nice to other tables where there were people ordering lots of bottles of wine and of course the table where the owner and his family were, they were treated differently. And it’s not like we were there just for coffee, both my husband and I ordered entrees, main courses, a fine bottle of wine, etc… what I mean is, we felt totally discriminated by the servers, it was not nice… I have been to all kinds of places, traveled over the world and the way we were treated was not nice. I can’t say the same about rhe sommelier, who was very nice to us.
Note: Forgot to mention that the waitress was especially rude, when I asked to see the dessert menu, which was supposed to be included in the main menu and when I told her it wasn’t, she immediately looked irritated and rudely rolled her eyes on me…

Food was great and well cooked. Great drink list as well. Setting is very nice, lots of plants and greenery outside and lighting at night was very romantic. Service as great too, highly recommend.
