Room adequate. Refrigerator would have been nice. More than one chair to sit on instead of the bed. Pool was great. Dining room food was good but had to pay cash and room service shut down earlier than posted.

Very well located, this beautiful hotel is relaxed and laid back. The breakfast buffet was good and worth taking. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. The pool on the roof is the perfect temperature

Some of the rooms don't have an exterior windows and only have interior windows. I paid for suite and I got a hotel room. I did however get a balcony. All rooms don't come with refrigerators which is very unusual it would not designate this hotel to be five stars because of the lack of amenities. Pool is fine water is a good temperature and it is refreshing. Curtains on the interior and the exterior of my hotel room are filthy and clearly haven't been cleaned and this century. I have chipped paint on my bathroom door and the floor needs to be waxed. I would say the room is only relatively clean. My room was supposed to be 377 ft but that's impossible. Room is much smaller than the description. And for some odd reason there's no chairs on the balcony. Probably because they would be impossible to keep clean. What the hotel really needs is for the head of the maids to go through the rooms and designate what the problems are with each room are. I like the location of the hotel but due to the dustiness and lack of refrigerators would have to think twice about staying here again. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful but there's places where things just look unattractive and are not hidden from guests views. There are around 10 used air conditioners by the entrance to get to the pool and I don't think anybody wants to see that it looks tacky. The architecture of the hotel and lobby are really basically the highlights of the hotel. Gate 1 tours uses this hotel. This could be a great hotel if care was taken to detail.

The Hotel and service is great . But the area it’s in is considered a high crime area . I was mugged half block from the hotel in the middle of the day. Learned afterwards that I was the second victim in a week. The hotel does have security 24/7 but after you step out of the hotel your on your own .

With this price this is an excellent hotel. Easy access to most of the sights by foot. Feel safe and staffs are all polite and friendly. We appreciate the beauty of old historical architecture. They maintained very well. Our room has good hot water/water pressure shower, well beddings. Clean and very comfortable room. Some people always complain about the noise from the street but that’s a charm of staying at centro! Hotel offers shuttle/taxi to airport with $320MXP flat rate, we joined one day tour to Tequila town with $500MXP (hotel pick up/drop off). Enjoyed roof top swimming pool and pool table at lobby. Restaurant and bar are reasonable price and fresh drinks/meals. (Also offers room service. $190MXP breakfast buffet; we enjoyed from menu as well) This hotel was beyond our expectation. If we have another chance to visit Guadalajara, we would like to come back again. And definitely recommend to my friends who is planning to visit the city. Although most of surrounded eating places close at 21:00-22:00 (some open till midnight). 24hrs convenience store is right on the corner. Big thanks to everyone work at Hotel Morales, we enjoyed very very much!! (6 nights)

Beautiful Hotel! Second time staying here over a 5 year peiod.And will definitely come back again. Their security detail overall the whole building is secure. The service has been exceptional and the food has always been great! Thank you to all the staff for their excellent service.
