This is my favorite restaurant in Guadalajara! The mussels and paella were fantastic, the best I've ever had. We sat on the patio, had a few glasses of wine, an amazing dinner, and finished with a rich chocolate cake and crema Catalon. It was a fantastic evening with Helga as our waitress. Her and her husband run this restaurant and all the recipes are his Grandma's from Spain. You can't leave Guadalajara without eating here.

Absolutely delicious. This was the best meal my partner and I had in Guadalajara. The food was fresh and the service was brilliant. The best Paella I have had. This restaurant is a must!

Everything about this restaurant was amazing! I had the mussels, paella, and crema Catalan and each dish was delicious. The portions and prices were great. The service was perfect. Helga was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. She told us some history of the recipes and building. You can tell she is very passionate about creating a good restaurant. You must eat here if you are in Guadalajara!

Spanish paella is really really really good tasting. The rice with fully shrimp fresh sweet to keep you eat continually and couldn’t help to stop it.

By far my favorite restaurant in Guadalajara. Run by a very nice husband and wife team (Eduardo and Helga) the food is absolutely amazing! The paella is one of the best I have ever had and I've had plenty around the world. Also, whenever they have it you must try the goat milk cheesecake. My partner and I have been here a good number of times since arriving, attempting to try everything in their menu, and are never disappointed.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at El CARGOL. I was charmed by our host, Helga. She made us feel like a guest at her home. The food was done with love and we will definitely be back for more!
