This place is a gem. Delicious coffee, clean, service was great. Only a few tables, but wasn’t very busy when we visited.

Absolutely amazing. Some of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had. We had 2 iced drinks that were incredible. One was a spicy mocha and the other a salt and honey latte. I would come back to Ensenada just for this coffee.

Legit specialty coffee shop with pour overs, espresso drinks, and really good coffee. I got a V60 that was hand ground with a commandante grinder and was very reasonable priced. As soon as the barista busted out that coffee grinder, I knew that this is a place that takes it’s coffee seriously. One of the best coffee experience I’ve had in a while. Unfortunately I discovered this place closer to the end of my trip, otherwise I would’ve come here every day. Highly recommended.

For fun I've been visiting the coffee shops in Ensenada that roast coffee. I've had lots of coffee drinks; some very tasty, others, . . not so much.
I usually order pour-overs as it's one of the best ways to sample a coffee. No machine in the way of a good brew. My new favorite is a Geisha from Veracruz and it can be DELICIOUS when roasted and brewed properly. I've had it at another shop, but at Xcaanda it was a disappointment.
Geisha is known for its bright flavor notes; violets, honey, blackcurrant, and raspberry. It can be really good, but it has to be roasted carefully, and brewed properly. The Geisha at Xcaanda lacked all the bright notes and had more of a heavy jam flavor to it. Doing light roasts well is difficult and not every roaster can roast light.

I had several other coffee drinks at Xcaanda. They're ok, but not outstanding.

Incredible coffee!!!! I always get a cappuccino so that I can get a good taste of the coffee itself and I'm here to tell you their coffee is amazing! Cool shop with awesome baristas. I will definitely be stopping by there again before we leave town.

Excellent choice coming into or leaving Ensenada. Quality and good food truck on same lot. Highly recommended!!
