We went and had breakfast at Santo Mitote. The restaurant is small but refined. The food was good. And the prices were very reasonable, $22 dollars breakfast for two people. They have a bar lounge upstairs overlooking Ensenada beach. It's pretty nice.

The food is great! Needs to be cleaned. The floor was dirty with food and crumbs under the tables and general area. There were a bunch flies trying to compete with me and my dish. The salad selection is great. Can be a lot cleaner!

The restaurant is in a very busy shopping center, so automatically it was a hassle to find a parking spot. In the end, we ended up parking in a Home Depot across the street. We came here for a family reunion, so we were a big group. It became apparent that the restaurant was not equipped to handle a big groups, since their kitchen was a bit small. The food took a bit longer to be served which it was expected due to the large amount of people, but the drinks did take a long time, which I thought would be no issue. At one point the waitress put some pitcher of water, but gave no actual cups for the water. I ordered the Mar y tierra, fillet mignon, shrimp and steam vegetables. The meat was very rare and cold, matter of fact the whole plate was cold, so I wasn't sure if the plate was sitting somewhere cooling down before it was actually served. The piña coladas were excellent says my brilliant daughter.

Good food. Well prepared omelette (Denver style), home style potatoes,
and sumptuous freshly made tortillas.
Excellent service. Good coffee.

I love going there. I get to watch the sun set over the Pacific. The food and service are always top-notch.
