Great service overall. The break buffet is good offering chilaquiles, menudo, pozole, fresh fruit and fresh juices each morning. Good dinner selection as well. Kid friendly.

Very badly managed hotel.
Staff tries its best but cannot make up for other basic issues not working.
The most critical problem they have is water. We were a group of 8 and different rooms had a number of issues.
In our room we had to call them 3 times and then it got sorted. Unfortunately one of the times it was a 1am in the morning and no one answered the phone so we had no water until people came in the morning.
Restaurant was just not equipped to serve groups. We waited over one hour for first plate to arrive and nearly two hours for last plate to arrive. Not fun.
We were surprised as the reviews and overall satisfaction number was good so something happened in the last months for it to become so bad.
Before putting this review, tried to contact them to see what happened as it could have been something particular to our stay and had no response back.
I would recommend you save yourself a lot of hassle and stay somewhere else.

The hotel is very well located, right in the center of the city. The room was big with a nice bathroom, although we had payed for a pool view, and got a parking view. The bed was comfy and the room itself had everything we needed. WiFi was a bit spotty, but working. No complaints about service, but I was surprised that they allowed homeless people into the lobby to harass the guests for money...weird.

Every time I reserve with this hotel Breakfast is included, I had breakfast my first morning I was given a bill and told that no breakfast is not included. The people who work here are very helpfull, and I am very satisfied with every other aspect of hotwl, and will strongly racomend.

When we first checked in, I was in the middle of the transaction when in walk two poor excuses for men demanding keys to their rooms. Not even “hello” “good morning” “excuse me”. Simply rude, entitled and demanding. I assumed the receptionist would tell them she’d be right with them after she was done helping me. Wrong!!! She did as they told her. It took her 10-15 mins to help them. I was livid, but just took my key once she was done and walked away.

Rooms are old. There was a gecko in our room, I had to ask for an iron because they forgot to put one in there when they cleaned the room before we got there (which they didn’t do that good of a job since I found a coin and a bobby pin in the floor). I was simply uncomfortable staying there. Plus, it is super noisy outside during the night and my husband and I could hear all the traffic going through while trying to sleep.

We had a 4 day reservation but ended up canceling the last three nights and moved to a different hotel.

The bar never had patrons in it during our week stay at the hotel, and we found out why: 1) they have very little inventory - no red wine, no white wine, no gin 2) the bartender knows only how to make a few cocktails 3) to get any service it is necessary to tear the bartender or a waiter away from their cell phones.
