I absolutely love this hostel! Free breakfast and a wide availability of tours. The hostel has a good reputation and is extremely safe. The hostel supports local and national cultural heritage. I did not lose anything or experience any crime like you encounter in the hotel zone. Beach is within walking distance or you can use a local bus for a very low fare. Personally, I enjoyed speaking to local citizens on my way to the beach on foot. Owners and experienced staff are extremely kind and helpful.

If you are looking for the nicest staff , family runned , home outside your own this is your place! I stayed in this hostel for over a month and my experience with everyone was no less then excellent. They provide basic facilities with the highest level of cleaningness, with friendly staff that is always ready to help you with anything you need.
Note that this hostel is around the corner of the main bus station and walking distance of everything you need to have the best time in Cancun , short or long term stay this is your place !

Great location outside of the hotel district and surrounded by bars, restaurants and parks. Quite a distance from the beach if that is your thing though. Bit expensive for what I'm used to paying but that is most probably due to the time of year I was there. Breakfast included, hot shower and nice clean room (I stayed in a private room, not the dorm). Toilet kept getting clogged but that wasn't just the hostels fault as other guests continually flushed toilet paper despite it being clearly signed not to.

Roof has a nice breeze, AC works from 8:30 PM until 11 AM. Includes breakfast. The receptionists are very nice and helpful. Shower is a bit dirty. Dorms are gender shared.

I worked there. No one has any locker keys bcz we used locks without spares and anyone is free to lock their locker and/or room with their own lock anyway.
Great, fabulous people in variety working there and passing through as guests as well.
Cheap and natural looking and feels natural and relaxed and that's how it's run to feel so even if things might come up as problems, well learning to relax and enjoy the beauty and variety and sharing of what we have is worth whatever issue we might deal with. If it cost more then I guess every complaint could be fixed with money, but what would be that experience?

Definitely ran into a serious bed bug infestation here that I'm still trying to eradicate. It's cheap but you'll probably spend what you saved and more doing laundry afterward.

Nice folks and a lovely community but not worth the Pain in the Ass factor that results from getting bed bugs.

It was ok. Rather dirty, beds were some of the worst I've ever slept on( seriously, the floor would be more comfortable) sheets were beyond see-through and need to be thrown away. Expensive, and unfriendly staff.
