First off Dr. Berron is a Miracle worker. I live in Florida and NY.
Not happy with my options from dentists in Florida and NY I wasn't ready to go ahead with them for two reasons. Time (At least 8 months) and Money. I had a Maryland Bridge break. All dentists said The tooth that anchored the bridge had to be extracted. Even other dentists in Cancun and Costa Rica who I sent my xrays advised the same thing. The U.S. guys said, Get the extraction done immediately then wait 3 months for it to heal and then see if I needed bone grafts and then see about 2 implants or a larger Bridge which had to be determined. All lengthy time consuming options. So after much research I hit on Dentaris and Dr. Berron. I had a fair amount of anxiety not knowing what I was walking into having never been there.
So I get there and meet Dr. Berron and he takes xrays. What happened next was a gift from God. Dr. Berron said come take a look at your xrays. He then told be he thought he could save my tooth with a root canal and make me a bridge and I'd be on my way in a week. WHAT? I was in shock and said you can do that? He said. YES. I felt like bowing down and kissing his ring. Not only did he save my tooth. He saved me 8 months and a bucket of money which would have been towards two implant. THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW. Some sites do have bogus reviews. I am a well know Musician. I lucked out and made the right choice. I will not hesitate to return to Dr. Berron if and when I need any other real Dental work. This man is a class act. I am a public figure and stand behind my words and experience. You can google or facebook me etc. Thank you all at Dentaris. Everyone of you. Peppy Castro

Dr. Berrón and his staff are the consummate professionals.They equal or greater quality of service of services than I typically find in the U.S with greater transparency on cost of services. In our case they went out of their way to make sure that my family's dental needs were able to be complete with a strict time frame without any detriment to the caliber of service. I really appreciate the work that they do.

Dr. Berron and the Dentaris staff have much higher quality service than I ever received in the USA. Everyone knows the services are more economical in Mexico. But I want to stress how much better quality care I received. Better communication on my treatment plan options, better service, and it was clear the USA wanted to do unnecessary procedures. I had great confidence in Dr. Berron after the initial consultation, which was my 2nd in Cancun. I chose Dr. Berron based on that confidence and it was the right decision.

I met the dentist Joaquin for a root canal. He did a very good job and took only 30 minutes for me. I was impressed in his professionalism and he gave me all the information I needed. Definitely a top notch clinic with nice personnel. Don’t hesitate.

I visited Dr.Berron while on a 10 day trip to Cancun. My teeth were in bad shape, and I was very unsure I'd be able to get the results I was hoping for. After an initial consult and examination including x-rays), I found that the repair work needed was actually far more extensive than I had thought. Dr.Berron carefully explained all of my options, and showed me the x-rays and pictures, so that I could see why he made these recommendations, and offered me several options to suit what I was looking for. I ended up getting all of the work done, and I could not be happier! The professionalism of the entire staff was second to none, the standard of hygiene, and work completed, was as good or better than any I have encountered in Canada (where dental standards are rigorous).
In addition to this, Antony at the front desk was incredibly helpful, going so far as to arrange transportation to and from the Airport, and to and from our resort for every appointment.
In short, if you are going to Cancun to have dental work done, or just happen to need something done while there, I highly recommend visiting Dentaris!!!

I am from USA and have lived in Cancun since 1981. I always went back to TX to get dental work because I didn’t know a dentist here. Some friends recommended Dr. Joaquin Berron and I began going to him in 1993.
The cleanliness in his spacious office and the ultimate new techniques and equipment surpass what I have seen in USA. Dr. Berron speaks perfect English and spends plenty of time examining thoroughly, and then carefully explaining treatment options.
Dr. Berron also taught cosmetic dentistry and Implants at LSU in New Orleans to dental students. So when I decided to put veneers on in 2002, I knew he was very capable. I just returned for my bi-annual visit August 2016 and the veneers are in excellent shape; as good as the day he put them in.
There have been friends visiting on me in Cancun from KY and TX who had dental emergencies here. They both went to Dr. Berron and were delighted with the treatment. When they returned home, their own dentists checked them out and said the work was perfect.
I am so happy with the service, treatment and PAINLESS dentistry that I have received; there is no other dentist anywhere for me.

I was so impressed with the staff at Dentaris in Cancun. I probably wouldn't have been so bold to just show up after looking at their website, but I was referred by my cousin who really had some amazing work done - and couldn't stop raving about the deal he'd found. He almost made me book my first appointment.

Both my wife and I visited last year and just had some normal stuff (a root canal, a cap, and a couple cavities) and we got a vacation for less then the dentist in our hometown of Olympia was going to charge for just me! Not only that, but they re-built a tooth I had busted out when I was a kid that didn't look quite real, and it still was less then my quote for the normal stuff at home!!! Not only that, but everybody at Dentaris is extremely genuine, friendly and helpful, and make you feel right at home too.

I have a whole bunch of people taking my advice already. Do yourself a favor and at least give them a call. Tell them Stephen sent you!
