Awesome experience! Both instructors are extremely patient and will not force you to do anything you arent comfortable with. They will tell you that you should atleast try it at your pace and comfort level. We had 1 diver with our group who found out it wasnt for them. So they let her snorkel above us instead. They do a shore training which is super informative and lets you build confidence before you dive in open water. They remind all guest to take motion sickness meds. And they feed you a fresh fruit bowl on the boat inbetween dives. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about trying scuba or having them as a guide if you are already certified. We are from Texas and had no idea which company to go with. This is the company you wanna use.

We went scuba diving here and had two really nice dives but had some minor issues:

First of all, the reefs were beautiful and we saw some awesome marine life (turtles, a huge stin-ray, a languste, many many colorful fishes and more), highly recommend the place! The guide was nice and helpful as well and spoke perfect english, showed us animals he spotted and made sure we had a good experience.

The communication when booking was also really good and they even offered us to leave 1h later then usual for us.

The issues we had: Two of the equipments were a bit sketchy, one was leaking a bit of air (which turned out to be no problem but gave me a bit uneasiness) and on the second one the backup-regulator was stuck once we tested it on the boat and didn't stop giving air. This was fixed by closing the tank and reopening it but we couldn't get a replacement anymore as we were already on the boat.
5 of the 6 tanks were at 2200 bars (instead of usual 3000).

Both dives were ended because we reached 45 minutes even though we still had enough air left in the tanks and had a lot of time left for the no-decompression time limit.

We decide that instead of diving this time, we would do the whale shark snorkel. Absolutely amazing! I was very hesitant on picking a company I was not familiar with. I am so thankful we picked Deep Life Dive!
They picked us up from the hotel, drove us to the marina. We had breakfast, then we boarded the boat.

I want to pause for a moment. The reason Deep Dive appealed so much to me is that their cost was inexpensive for what others cost. I was absolutely torn with going VIP vs a more public price. I decided to do public pricing and based on the descriptions of Deep Dive, thought it was worth the gamble.

The gamble paid off. Deep Dive only allows 6 people on a tour (especially now due to Covid). I was part of one couple and there was another onboard. It took about 1 hour to get to the where the whales are located, but it was a fun ride.

When we got there, it was breathtaking. The captain got us extremely close, and we got to go multiple times! The crew spoke great English, and we had a blast!

There were other boats there, and those boats were PACKED! I would have hated being on any of those boats.

After the whale snorkeling, we set out for Isle of Mujeres where we had an amazing lunch. It was actually the best food we had during our whole trip! We swam and relaxed until it was time to return back. We returned, they drove us back to our hotel and we already miss it!

In summary - DO NOT PAY for some VIP private tour for 2k. Instead, go with these guys! They didn't treat us like a number, they treated us with amazing service.Get treated with VIP service without pay VIP pricing. Deep Dive delivers!

With such amazing service - you bet we will be using them when we return for diving!

After my first day of getting my PADI certification, I was a little apprehensive about diving (due to it feeling so unnatural to breath underwater). I was freaked out and doubted I would come back.

However, I talked to both Eduardo and Daniel. They reassured me and made sure every step of the process was at my speed. The instructors are great and very patient, even with a wimp like me.

I went from deciding that I was not coming back to getting my certification. If it wasn’t such a solid crew, it probably wouldn’t have happened.

My only regret was that I didn’t make more time to do some more follow up dives for fun. I hope I get to dive with these guys again in the future!

Just back from a short trip to Cancun where I spent 3 days with Deep Life Divers: 2-tank reef dives, Cenotes (The Pit, Batcave and Barbie Line), and whale shark snorkeling on day 3. Eduardo was great in suggesting options and arranging logistics including hotel pick-up and drop-off. First time in Cancun so convenience, responsiveness and professionalism were important for the best possible experience. From Eduardo to the drivers to the dive masters, my expectations were exceeded and as a result I have great memories to look back on. When I make it back, DLD will have my business again.

Went cenote (Pit u0026 Dos Ojos) and Cozumel diving.
Everything great end to end. On time for pickup, good drivers, great dive masters, good boat, small groups. Plus available on text to finalize all details pre and post dives. As good as it gets.

What can I say, at the beginning I didn’t know what to expect... and then I was WOW. I love it!
Eduardo was our contact. He was VERY helpful with all the information and everything. We rescheduled last minute for our diving experience... hands down, he made it work. Thank you. ????
CENOTES Exceeded my expectations! The transportation and our diving instructor Daniel made us feel safe!! Great level of professionalism, knowledge and very focused on the safety precautions. Beautiful place, it was FUN!! Definitely I am coming back! I recommend highly Deep Life Divers!
