LOVED! Tried this spot bc it had good reviews and was close to our hotel. Fish and chips was so hot u0026 delicious! Almost burnt my tongue bc I was too impatient to let it all cool down! Daiquiris was just the thing to wash it all down lol.

This is a no frills type of place but the view and sound of the waves hitting the shore just seemed to be perfect.

Staff was friendly and yes, they automatically include that 15% tip in the bill that no other spot seemed to do. But I didn’t mind.

Most of the dishes I had were pretty good. Nachos were poor. When you put wet ingredients on chips they get soggy. The burger was like meat loaf, came with few fries but then this is a seafood restaurant so... Good service.

We showed up here randomly to celebrate our engagement and were very pleased with the service, food, prices and staff! So much so that we returned a second day! Our servers name was Fernando and on top of his very professional, friendly and tentative service he spoke very good English! The tacos de pescado "al pastor" were so good I think I ate 2 plates! Fernando also provided us with excellent recommendations of where to go and ways to travel! 5/5 stars! If you visit Playa Tortuga ask for Fernando and tip him well! Lastly, parking was 150 pesos for the day which we thought was reasonable, and the locals were extremely friendly! HUGE RECOMMENDATION for Bonanza Seafood and Beach! I was not paid to post this!!! Please go here you won't regret it!

Fantastic beach club! They offer free use of beach chairs and umbrella, as well as free toilet use for customers (non-customers had to pay 10 pesos for use of public bathroom block), they also didn't say there was a minimal spend, though we went all day there and spent well over 1000 pesos on endless drinks and snacks. They do coronita buckets (these are the smaller version of coroner's), amazing food and have fantastic and attentive staff.
