This bar is actually a very famous bar in Villahermosa. It was one of the first commerical establishments in downtown. When you first arrived it's a little hard to understand the vibe, people will look at you strangely. However after a few beers and some tequila if you just sit, the place takes over you and you begin to really enjoy the local characters of Villahermosa. Not to mention it was one of the most economical watering holes I have found with a complete full bar. Don't go telling all the other tourists

Lively local atmosphere. Only for true and fearless cultural adventurers. At least at night time, as in day time apparently the clientele changes to journalists, artists, writers, politicians and such. Cool art on the walls and tables. It's a people's 'cantina' with a colourful collection of local characters and cheap beer sold by the 1 litre bottle (caguama). Pepe the owner was very welcoming and polite. it has the tough charm of a traditional people's bar. We felt safe at all times but I wouldn't take the kids.
