At first glance, the hotel seems a bit rustic, some areas (not those where you stay) seem a bit neglected. At second glance, however, the hotel impresses with the different levels it has, which radiate both privacy and cosiness. The large terrace is ideal for enjoying tea, coffee or dinner. The restaurant offers a simple breakfast with the best coffee I've had in 4 weeks in Mexico. In the evenings, the restaurant offers Italian cuisine. The lady of the house is lovely and helpful, for example taking care of my laundry. All in all a good stay and good value for money. But at least one of the 5 bathrooms could use a little more attention and a toilet seat

Great friendly, down to earth family run business. An tranquil place for the traveller and excellent price. Not for princesses, you may want to pay more but for me I loved it and was able to put my small motorbike inside securely.

Beautiful place with genius loci. People in receptions are sometimes confused. We catch crazy loud people in dormitory’s who make a noice. But beds are clean, toilets also. Breakfast was easy but tasty-coffee and pancakes. Area in hostel is amazing!

The worst hostal I have ever found. Service is very bad. I didn't get the room I booked. The person who received me kept me at the door for at least half an hour. It's 8 to 10 blocks away from the downtown. The only good thing was that they offered me something to protect myself from mosquitoes.

It's a hostel, if you're looking for an inexpensive place this will fit the bill. Some of the people in our group were not impressed by this place. It will do for a place to stay.

It's a lovely place with lovely people around! Has its pros and cons but the owners will make you feel home.

This was the least pleasant hostel we stayed in during our 2 months in chiapas. The owner was supposed to get us at the bus station, but never did, apperently because of road blocks we never saw. At least an excuse would have been fine as we waited for an hour and had to catch a cab. During our two nights stay, we've been woken up around 7am by loud hammering noise right above our room. They also turned the water off in the morning for a while without letting us know... In the evening we asked for booking a tour the next day but they never came back to us. There is a shared kitchen, but pretty much no utensiles to cook. Ants are running all over the walls, at least in the room we stayed in, and on the outside terrace. The breakfast is ok, one drink and two crepes.
