Good hostel their isn’t many in this town so I have to say this is the best. The WiFi is good, the beds are comfy, their is a/c from 7pm-7pm. You don’t get any breakfast but you do get free coffee. Their is a restaurant right next door with really affordable breakfast and healthy drinks. Their is also a restaurant on the roof open in the morning then closes and opens back up in the evening. It had a great view. I definitely stay here again if need be.

Place is OK. not that nice. not that bad.
Rooftop has reasonable view.
Wifi did not work when I was there.
Worst: Wifi is there. Password works, but does not connect. Then the front desk gives you fake hope that it works.
The hostel was empty when I was there. So wifi should have worked

After being in transit for 15 hours from Guatemala, then being bumped from my flight at the last minute, I arrived at 11 pm and these guys saved my life with an available dorm room. The place is clean and comfortable with amazing value for the price. I was in the 4 bed ladies dorm and the beds were super comfy. The room has a sink and shower with great hot water and pressure, but you have to go to the hall for the toilet. They have a beautiful terrace upstairs and coffee available in the morning. Lovely place to stay if you happen to find yourself in Tuxtla.

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in Mexico, outside of a resort this is the best I have seen. Hostel/hotel with a great atmosphere. Good rooftop bar and restaurant. My private queen room was amazing. Fast internet throughout the property. Highly recommend.

Update March 2019: Stayed here again and still great. Stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. Pleasantly surprised when my room, #5, had a sink and shower in it and only the toilet was shared. Great staff as usual too.

The rooms and the toilet are super clean. The beds are comfortable, and have individual lights and plugs.
Each room has a shower inside. The toilet is outside.
There is a kitchenette that can be used from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. During the evening, a bar and restaurant occupies the same area.
The Staff is ready to help.
Free drinking water.
Good signal WiFi.
Excellent location: only two blocks away from main plaza. It is noisy if there is a public event.
This as a hotel that happens to have dorms.
