Rooms smell. Air-conditioning doesn't really work. Issues with staff and billing. Great breakfast though (even if they tried to double charge me for it).

Barely a few hours after arriving, we've switched rooms twice, poor quality AC, rooms seem very dated and a musty stench prevails. Definitely not up to the Marriott standards I've grown used to. This is an aberration to the brand name.
UPDATE... the following morning they politely tried to mitigate the situation by leaving a cheese, crackers and wine tray in our room; thanks a lot, but remember, there's NEVER a second chance to make a good FIRST impression.

Great experience and customer service. Very nice hotels and a breakfast that is one to remember!!! Will definitely be coming back.

Nice Marriott Hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast is delicious and from Mo-Fr you can get lounge access as a titanium member.
Pool is nothing special and there is a small gym. There is enough parking around the hotel. Prices at the bar are ok, and the have some good cocktails and some nice bottles of spirit.

The hotel is ok. My biggest complaint was no hot water in the shower, and the air conditioning did not make the room cool. Also, the bed was made really weirdly - the bottom sheet wasn't fitted, and was tucked in at the head end of the bed, leaving nearly 10 inches of mattress exposed at the foot end.

The people are great, and the location is great, but it's not the best stay I've had in Mexico.

It took over 1 hour for room service. The front desk staff was dis oriented

Run down hotel, front desk that doesn't care, old stale food served at dinner. First room I was given was run down. Paint was peeling from the ceiling, hole in the wall and overall run down. Went to the front desk and the staff didn't say a word and just moved me to another room. No paint was peeling but still dark and dingy looking. Front desk does not know about Marriott's policy for check in guarantee and did not honor the check in promise, I am handling with corporate now. Had dinner there one night and the food was stale. Bread, nachos, hamburger bun cracked into 4 pieces after trying to lift it up. Pasta was over cooked, wings said they were bbq but came out as buffalo, wait staff hovered and it felt like they were always watching you. DO NOT STAY HERE
