( Positives: )
-
* The rooms are pretty and every morning the beds are made for you and things like soap are restocked.
-
* Snacks and drinks can be bought in the lobby.
-
* Breakfast coupon for one person each morning. Allows for you to get a free or discounted breakfast in the hotel cafe. Also free coffee or a special drink of the day (ranging from pineapple juice to horchata)
-
* As long as you have your room card you're allowed to leave and come back whenever you please. I heard some horror story reviews about not being allowed back in the hotel after 9pm (Don't listen to those, you're allowed out later, it's just not recommended. There's also staff that watch over the entrance overnight while the doors remain open)
-
* Free Wifi and a Roku TV
-
* Patient and friendly staff
-
* Remote controlled AC
-
* Convenience stores and places to eat are a very short walking distance away.
-
( Negatives: )
-
* Not many fluent English speakers, but some DO speak English (just ask)
I recommend staying at the hotel with a friend that speaks the language, or use a translation app.
-
* Sometimes neighboring rooms can be noisy. Staff also knock on the door in the late morning to see if you're around and need your room cleaned.
(I've been woken up from this, but if you're there for long enough the staff pay attention to when you normally wake up and they wont knock on your door anymore; they wait for you to leave to get breakfast or something)
-
* In my case the Wifi stopped working for a day or 2. It was eventually fixed, but something like that could happen. There's places that are close that offer free emergency Wifi (like Carls Jr or Walmart)

Overall? Cozy hotel, worth the price. And I'll probably come again
